Bengaluru: Umesh Katti, a minister for the state of Karnataka, went away on Tuesday from a heart arrest. His age was 61. In the Bommai government, Umesh Vishwanath Katti held the positions of Minister of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, and Forest Departments. He served in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly for eight terms.
